This module takes children on a nature adventure in Ocean Park, and inspires them to express themselves through creative ways which help develop their confidence and self-expression.

During the children’s favourite story time, children learn to work with each other, express their creativity verbally, imitating sounds and body language.

Features

Encourage Imagination:

Instructors take children into the imaginative world of the story, sharing the joy of storytelling

Uplift Creative Expression Skill:

Children will join together to tell the story through speech, imitating sounds and body language, which enhances their capacity for self-expression

Build Confidence:

Through different cooperation and storytelling activities, children’s confidence would be enhanced

Develop School readiness:

A snack break is provided for the Sprout Playgroup. Children will learn about distributing food and tidying up after themselves, which enhances their awareness of self-care and communication with others

Programme Details

Dates:

Starts from October 2017
3-5 classes per month
Monday to Thursday (Children attend class once a week)

Class duration: 90 min

Capacity: 14 per class

Tutor to participant ratio: 1:7

Language: Cantonese and English course options are provided. The English course will be taught by a native English speaking instructor. Some activities will be led by our experienced local instructors.

Class Rundown Sample

30 min: Nature exploration

Animal feeding/ demonstration/ observation, nature observation

15 min: Circle time

Class greeting/ singing/ learning recap & introduction for the following parts

30 min: Story Time

Discuss on the story characters/ perform in story

15 min: Snack & social time & Say goodbye
