The much-missed book sale is back!
Suspended for two years because of the pandemic, the "BOOKS FOR LOVE @ $10" in-person charity book sale is now returning to Taikoo Place. Featuring 14 book categories across two locations, and the book sale this year will be extended to 9 days.
Launched in 2009 and sponsored by Swire Properties, "BOOKS FOR LOVE @ $10" is a charity drive to collect secondhand books from the community, which were then sorted into categories by volunteers and books will be sold at a charity price of HK$10.
Now in its tenth year running, we are launching a "BUY 10 for 11" Special Offer. At the same time, we have invited 10 illustrators to create inspiring illustrations which will be showcased at ArtisTree.
Over the years, the project has raised a total of HK$4 million for the community. We hope that you will continue to support us. All proceeds from the charity sale will go to the “Treasure Trove” project led by the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA), and the Agency for Volunteer Service to promote sustainable volunteerism.

Admission Policy - Anti-epidemic measures:
- Daily venue disinfection
- Closure for disinfection: 2:45 – 3 pm & 4:45 – 5 pm
- Visitors must wear a mask all the time and complete a temperature check at the entrance
- Scan the “LeaveHomeSafe” venue QR code
- Visitors must have fulfilled the COVID-19 vaccination requirements of ‘Vaccine Pass Direction’ (except for those who are exempted)
- Provide QR code of vaccination record, medical exemption certificate of recovery from COVID for scanning
