The monthly tournament, where all student players are welcomed to join. This event will help your children to acquire the full spectrum of personal, academic, and societal benefits from playing chess.
The tournament will be played in 5 rounds single Round-Robin format for each division. Each division will have a maximum of 6 players. The players will be assigned to divisions based on their publicly available ratings. If the student does not have a rating, an initial student rating will be assigned by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) based on their ages.
All players who are not yet members of FIDE will be provided a complimentary student membership to FIDE, and will be given a lifetime ID. Results of every game will be reflected in the FIDE global students’ ranking.
Prize giving ceremony will follow at the conclusion of the last round and will be open to friends and family of the players.
