Ruth Benny joins Howard Tuckett, Headmaster, Wycombe Abbey School Hong Kong and Christine Ma - Lau, Founder & Principal, JEMS Character Academy (Wycombe Abbey School UK Alumni) as they discuss the importance of character building in children.
Character education in a primary school setting is a way to help young people develop positive personal strengths. It aims to build positive character traits; to be caring, a good citizenship, to cooperate, be courageous and resilient. Learning to be a ‘good person’, with fairness, honesty, respect and responsibility. These virtues will prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.
Tune in and listen how #WAS integrates these beliefs into daily school life and why it is so important.
