“Walk for Nature” 2018 is now open for registration, so sign up to reserve your place!
Walk for Nature 2018 is an ideal time for family and friends to Connect2Nature at Mai Po Nature Reserve and meet WWF staff to see and hear more about the important role of Ramsar sites, such as the Mai Po marshes, and the challenges faced by migratory waterbirds on their journey along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway.
Get involved and use the iNaturalist app during this year’s event and share what you see with friends.
- Dates: 3-4 November 2018 (Saturday and Sunday). Participants can choose to join for one day only.
- Time: 9:30am to 6pm. The event will be divided into10 time slots each day, running consecutively at half-hour intervals from 9:30am-2pm. Participants can choose their preferred time slot during registration.
- For safety reasons, baby strollers and prams are not allowed in the reserve.
Support us by joining Walk for Nature and get your friends involved by joining or by sponsoring you. Funds raised will support our work on local biodiversity and land conservation issues, as well as a WWF conservation impact fund to help community groups help us to protect some of Hong Kong’s best natural spaces in South Lantau. We believe in the importance of proactive conservation action in wetland and coastal habitats across Hong Kong.
