Painting on silk is one of the most exciting avenues of artistic expression.
An added advantage to painting on silk is that you can easily create a wearable piece or a piece you can hang at home. Whatever your favorite themes may be (animals, flowers, nature, or abstract designs) you will be able to experiment with them on this versatile surface. In this introductory class, you will learn how to transfer your design on the silk and how it undergoes a magical transformation of texture and color that can be accomplished only by interaction of dyes and paints.
