Get into the Ramadan Spirit with Haq Al Laila festivities at Expo City Dubai.
An integral part of Emirati and neighbouring gulf traditions, Haq Al Laila, which falls in the month before Ramadan, means “give us for this blessed night”. Ahead of the occasion on 7 March, Expo City Dubai will host a series of complimentary performances and events from 3-5 March. From cultural performers to roaming mascots, a medley of Haq Al Laila songs and special projections screened on Al Wasl Dome, Haq Al Laila will help raise awareness of the Arab traditions. Not to be missed is the camel parade which will head off each day from the Al Wasl Avenue after the Maghreb prayer at 18:45. There’s a treat in store for everyone with the camels carrying sweets that will be handed out.
