The International Music Institute Group was founded in 1994 and it now has three branches in Abu Dhabi: in Khalidyia City (the International Music Institute), in Al Bandar (the Juli Music Institute) and in Abu Dhabi Ladies Club.

Following excellent results in students examinations, the IMI has been chosen as the Abu Dhabi's Official representative of the A.B.R.S.M (Assciated Board of Royal School of Music). The Institute is offering lessons taught by professionally trained instructors of all instruments, vocal and dance. The following is a list of services provided to anyone who wishes to pursue their enjoyment of performing arts:

Practical and theory exams (from United Kingdom) twice a year
A wide array of dance programs (RAD and Vaganova method classical ballet, modern and contemporary dance and stretching class)
Concerts and performances for the students during the year.
Pre-music classes for children to begin their musical education at an earlier age
Musicians for private and public events
Sales/Rental: sale and rental of all types of musical instruments for personal use or public events
Bookshelf: a wide selection of musical books and texts, both for ABRSM examinations and for personal enjoyment
