Emotions! The new art adventure.
We’re welcoming families and young children back to the Children’s Museum from 18 June 2021, with the brand-new exhibition ‘Emotions! The new art adventure’. It’s free for children, and perfect for families especially with younger children aged 4-10.
Three floors of fun
This year, there are so many new things to try! Taking you across the three floors of the Children’s Museum, there is a variety of fun experiences to help you explore emotions by playing, listening, drawing or acting. There is also a new outdoor area to relax and express your own emotions. Let unpleasant feelings go away, or cultivate happiness, and understand that all emotions are your friends.
Children will discover the secret world of feelings in artworks. Throughout history, artists from different backgrounds and belonging to different cultures always paid attention to the way they represented emotions in their creations. Whether it is a particular face, a specific gesture, a dedicated color or shape, the new Children’s Museum adventure invites children to explore the universal topic of emotions and the messages they carry in art. Along the journey, children will learn how to identify emotions, understand their cause and become a master of their own emotions thanks to engaging activities involving body and mind.
To begin the experience, create your personal profile and get a wristband to carry through the challenge. Meet the artworks and discover their secrets through a series of games. Observe, play and collect a maximum of points to become a master of emotions and collect your special reward.
Parents can rest assured that all safety precautions have been taken so that children enjoy the experiences in a safe environment. This includes hand sanitising throughout the exhibition, touch-free exhibits, social distancing and no material-sharing in the activities.

- Adults: 63 AED.
- Art Club members: free entry.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
