MAS MASH brings together animators, performers, studios and illustrators to showcase and celebrate Arab animation.

Japanese animation, commonly known as “Anime” is one of Japan’s biggest cultural exports; its popularity in the Arab world dates back to decades ago. For its’ 4th edition, MAS MASH 2022 will take you through the evolution of anime into the Arab world.
The event will include unique talks, award winning animation screenings, workshops, merchandise and showcases providing a holistic look into the field as both a practice and form of cultural expression.
