This July and August, The Courtyard Playhouse invites children across Dubai to step into a world of creativity with its beloved Summer Camps.

Set in their charming Al Quoz theatre, these camps are perfect for kids at every stage of their storytelling journey — from curious beginners to confident young performers.

Far more than just drama, each camp is thoughtfully designed to nurture confidence, creativity, and collaboration — essential life skills developed through the magic of theatre.

What’s On Offer This Summer?

Mini Storytellers (Ages 4–7) — Little ones will dive into a different theme each week, brought to life through drama games, movement, and tales inspired by cherished children’s books. Guided by the Playhouse’s warm and experienced instructors, kids will create and perform their own heartwarming mini-showcase by week’s end. Choose from half-day morning or afternoon sessions!
Junior Actors (Ages 8–11) — Step into the spotlight with a week of theatrical fun inspired by beloved children's books and authors! Each themed camp invites budding performers to explore improvisation, build characters, and rehearse scenes as they transform into a dynamic ensemble. By the end of the week, Junior Actors proudly share their creativity in a lively mini performance.
Young Performers (Ages 12–14) — For the oldest group, it’s all about digging deeper into the art of storytelling. Young Performers will craft original scenes drawn from timeless genres and mythical tales. With a strong focus on voice, movement, and collaborative creation, this immersive experience nurtures confidence and creativity in a space where bold ideas and imaginative risks are encouraged.
