Tween Talks is a series of guided conversations, practical tools and support to help tweens navigate through today’s complex world with clarity and confidence.
The Social Tween is a workshop that teaches kids how to build and maintain healthy friendships through effective social skills. The workshop includes a simultaneous 1-hour group discussion for parents with Dr. Saliha Afridi.
Suitable for: Tweens, 9 – 12 years
Kids will:
- Learn how to build and maintain healthy friendships through effective social skills.
- Learn how to communicate assertively with their peers.
- Recieve practical examples of useful verbal and non-verbal communication strategies through role-play.
Parents Group (running simultaneously)
There will be a 1-hour group discussion for parents, related to the topic at hand. Lead by Dr. Saliha Afridi, the parent's group will be a support & learning community group of parents, with children from 9 – 12 years old.
