Turning Pointe Abu Dhabi



Turning Pointe was founded in Dubai in 1996 by Donna Dempsey, a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) London, UK. 

 

As a classical ballet teacher, Donna ensured Turning Pointe established itself as one of the foremost ballet schools in the UAE, expanding over the next two decades to include all forms of dance into Turning Pointe’s curriculum by employing the best qualified teachers in different genres.

Turning Pointe’s strength lies in its teachers and students.  With a large faculty of teachers (the biggest in the UAE) Turning Pointe is able to offer each student the tailored coaching they need.  Our serious, senior dancers benefit enormously from the many workshops and shows we produce each year, as well as offering our students the opportunity to take the internationally accredited examinations of the RAD and ISTD.  Please do visit our About Us/Teaching Team page to read more about our amazing faculty.
