The Sarood is a traditional circular mat made of ‘palm hair’ that were woven by early Emirati craftsmen and women, a centre of any gathering and as such has huge cultural significance as a symbol of traditional Arabic hospitality.
Using a UAE traditional Sarood we will be creating a desert landscape painting in this workshop.
