Dubai Winter Festival guarantees to get you in the festive spirit with a host of exciting seasonal features. Visit Santa’s grotto, shop at the winter market, build a snowman, have a snowball fight, watch the official tree lighting ceremony. Christmas Carol Singing
Clap your hands, stamp your feet, and sing your heart out as Dubai’s schools and adult choir groups lead you through another fun-filled jamboree of the most-loved carols and all-time Christmas hits.
Giant Christmas Tree
Watch as Dubai’s magical giant Christmas tree brightens up the night sky with a lighting ceremony every evening at 6pm. Gather round with your family and friends and join in on the countdown!
Meet the Mascots is a NEW feature at the festival this year!
Your little ones will have the opportunity to meet and greet their favourite characters. Capture photos of your kids with their most loved mascots and see them light up as they come face to face with their heroes!
Santa’s Grotto
Santa is taking time out of his busy schedule to make a special appearance at the Dubai Winter Festival! Watch your children’s faces light up as they whisper their wish list in Santa’s ear and receive a special gift from the elves! Tickets for Santa’s Grotto cost only AED 30! Santa’s Grotto tickets needs to be purchased separately.
The Cheese Corner
NEW for 2017, the Cheese Corner will be filled with demos and workshops run by French cheese-monger, Francois Robin. He was voted as the “Best cheese-monger in 2011” and currently working to promote French and European cheese in the Middle East. The Cheese Corner will also offer visitors seasonal cheese tasting, including Raclette, Fondues and more along with recipe cards and goodies to take home and cherish.
Pub Quiz - NEW at the festival this year!
Dubai Winter Festival invites you to grab your best and brightest mates, put your thinking caps on and have the best fun at Dubai’s largest Pub Quiz which offers plenty of excitement and prize. So make your way down to the festival, prove your quiz mettle and win win win!
Haribo Snow Play Zone
Have fun throwing snowballs or spread your wings and show your friends how to make the perfect snow angel in the Snow Play Zone! Access to the Snow Play Zone is free of charge.
Pantomime - Santa’s New Apprentice
This Christmas, Santa is hosting a whopper of a talent show to find his new apprentice! Will it be Ernie the Elf, Florrie the Fairy or will Gobby the Goblin topple them all?
Join Santa and his team for a real slice of Christmas pantomime heaven, full of fun and laughter, song and dance and very silly slapstick for all the family!

The Princess Show
A leading lady of the Dubai stage Lucy Hunter-James delivers a spectacular performance on the main stage at the Dubai Winter Festival! Returning for the fourth year, the Princess Show will take audiences on a fairy tale journey full of wonderful songs! Are you ready for this magical extravaganza? Grab your tiaras, gowns and glass slippers, come dressed as a princess and stand a chance to appear on stage and win a special prize!
French Bakery Gingerbread House Making
Take a break from last minute gift shopping and decorate your own edible gingerbread house for Christmas in this fun family workshop led by French Bakery. The Gingerbread House workshop promises you sweet fun and creative activity with the end result being your very own personalised gingerbread house. From frosted roofs to colourful candy accents, you’ll have all the tools you need to personalise and take home your very own Gingerbread creation!
Letters to Santa
He’s making a list and checking it twice…so come on down and write your very own magical letter to Santa! This is a chance for kid’s and parents to think about your wish list and then post it in a special post box for the elves to deliver to Santa in time for Christmas eve! The best letter to Santa will win a prize!
The Party Garden
New for 2017, the “Party Garden” offers a dedicated area for adults with festive games, competitions, karaoke and a bar serving winter beverages. This is the place for adults who enjoy Christmas too!
NEW feature this year is The Snow Slide!
Feel the wind in your hair as you slide down our terrific 15 metre snow-tubing slide. This thrilling ride is great fun, safe and open to participants of all ages!
