On 19th – 20th January 2018, Masdar will once again host The Festival at Masdar City as part of Abu Dhabi sustainability Week. Masdar welcomes the local community to join for a series of fun and educational activities related to sustainability against the backdrop of one of the world’s most sustainable cities. Entry is free
Baba Zayed Zone
The UAE is celebrating its founding father Sheikh Zayed’s timeless legacy. The celebration comes as 2018 has been declared the Year of Zayed. This zone will feature the “Wall of Zayed” where you can learn about Sheikh Zayed’s legacy and some of his most remarkable achievements. There will also be an interactive photo mosaic wall.
Masdar Park
Geared for the tech fans, the newly revamped Masdar Park will feature simulators, and an immersive experience inside The planetarium dome.
Greenhouse Zone
Learn all about seeds, planting and how to take care of plants and flowers. The participants will be able to decorate their very own flower pot with different recycled items and bring it home with them.
THE TALES & LEGENDS
The Magical fairy will appear at her majestic throne under the tree and will take the listeners through an enchanting journey of fairy tales with pictorial elements from her giant book of fairy tales as children listen through the words in excitement.
Innovation Hub Zone
Travel through the world of innovation and creativity with your friends and family. In this zone, visitors will get the chance to explore and learn about renewable energy sources such as sun,wind and water.
The Bazaar Zone
A wide variety of cuisines from all across the world will come together within this zone. From traditional Arabic grills to fresh organic smoothies - there's everything to everyone's taste.
The Souk Zone
From organic soaps to handmade jewelry you will be able to find it all within The Souk.
Arcade Alley Zone
Test your skills in this zone, where 5 exciting games with prizes.
Carnival Square Zone
Who doesn’t enjoy circus workshops? In this zone, instructors will teach kids how to do tricks, magic and juggle while sharing the true sense of a carnival. Kids will learn some new tricks such as juggling, diabolo act and balancing. Visitors will also be entertained by face painting, having a fun design sprayed on their arms and will have their portrait drawn by a professional caricaturist.

Get ready to be dazzled and entertained by many fun and educational shows, all under one zone.
