BRMC Little Lights Preschool (Barker) offers kindergarten services and operates according to the MOE’s school calendar.

At BRMC Little Lights Preschool, our role is to be effective stewards of each child’s holistic development. Our core values of

“Learn, Live, Lean” encompass the cognitive, physical, psychosocial and spiritual aspects of each child’s development through every stage of their journey with us.

We offer multiple approaches to learning.

BRMC Little Lights Preschool Barker offers an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (modelled on the inquiry-based curriculum) and our proprietary Chinese and Bilingual Montessori Programme. All learning domains are mapped to the Ministry of Education’s Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Framework to ensure our children are ready to enter Primary One.

With the inquiry-based learning method promoting collaboration and teamwork, and the Montessori approach enabling individual exploration and each child to learn at their own pace, both pedagogies complement each other and together, offer each child the best of both worlds.
