The youngest harpists in the ensemble will kick off the set with a list of well-loved tunes.
Then, the talented 8 to 10-year-old harpists take the stage, charming you with harp music and voices with Flute, a harp chamber work, and favourites such as O Mio Babbino Caro, and Scaramouche. The set also features guest performers from Counterpoint Quartet – a violin quartet who will perform their rendition of Bach’s Double Violin Concerto in D minor.
About the Artist
Rave Harpers is Singapore’s leading Harp Orchestra. Led and directed by Young Artist award winner Katryna Tan, the group was formed in year 2004 and has since performed in various musical events and concerts. Members of the ensemble range from those as young as four to the older youths.
Members of the ensemble have also won many international harp competitions in Japan, Thailand, France, and performed in the World Harp Congress.
