Join the scientists behind the R&D of Japan's leading future food, Euglena, and learn more about its benefits to personal health & the environment.
This is a hands-on workshop where your child gets to:
- Look at the living micro-organism through a laboratory microscope like a real scientist
- Learn about the world of algae and its role in our ecosystem
- Taste Euglena and experience its health benefits
- Finally, meet Eugreen, the brand mascot for photo taking opportunities!
What's more? At the end of the class, your child will walk away with a Euglena Young Scientist Certificate, endorsed by euglena Co.!
Duration: 2 hours per session
Language: Conducted in English
Recommended Age: 8 - 12 years. Parents are encouraged to join in the experience with your child!

10.00AM - 10.10AM : Workshop Introduction
10.10AM - 10.30AM : Introduction to Euglena by Dr. Kengo Suzuki
10.30AM - 11.30AM : Becoming a Euglena researcher: Peeking into the world of Euglena
11.30AM -11.50AM : Exciting world of algae through SEA researcher's eye by Ms. Marshila Kaha
11.50AM - 12.00NN : Closing workshop & group photo
The classes will be available at 3 timeslots:
10.00AM to 12.00NN | 1.30PM to 3.30PM | 4.00PM to 6.00PM
Tickets are free but limited to 20 families per timeslot. So grab them before they run out and spend an enriching time at Singapore Science Centre!
Note: Attendees will have to obtain admission tickets to Singapore Science Centre to access the workshop in the DNA Lab. Attendance will be confirmed upon registration of tickets. Adults are welcomed but priority will be given to kids between 8-12 years of age.
