Calling All P5 & P6 Students! This March Holidays, come and pick up effective techniques by Mdm Jiang.

Comprehension

2.30pm - 4pm

Within the 1.5 hour lesson daily, students will be guided to read an array of narrative and factual passages so they get to practise their reading aloud at the same time. Mdm will highlight the writer’s intent, the writing rubrics, the theme of the passage and the techniques of reaching the answers. Students will learn how to unearth the underlining messages from diction and sequence of ideas. At the end of the course, without fear, students can confidently tackle any passage.

Composition

4pm - 5.30pm

Mdm Jiang will cover picture-based composition, situation-based composition and topical composition during the 5-day course in March. Students will dabble with different writing techniques such as making an examining the key words of a topic, practising logical imaginiation, making an effective introduction, defining the theme of your story, plotting, descriptive writing with appropriate language use, etc. Experimenting with all the techniques in 5 pieces of writing, your child will yield a great sense of achievement at the end of the course. This course is best taken with Comprehension Course as many of the writing rubrics can be learnt from the passages in the latter.
