Conversations with Jackson Kaguri

CNN Hero Twesigye Jackson Kaguri, founder of The Nyaka AIDS Project, will be on campus from Monday, August 21 to Saturday, August 26, encouraging students to serve the community by sharing his life experiences.

A humble immigrant living the American dream, Kaguri left Columbia University to return home to Uganda to care for his brother, who was dying of AIDS. Realizing that the disease had overwhelmed his village, Jackson made a decision, setting in motion the events that changed the lives of the people of the Enengo Valley in Western Uganda.

Please join to hear his story firsthand, followed by a book signing event.
