Money Matters Camp

Money Matters Camp

This 5-day camp focuses on money matters and entrepreneurship.

Students will learn about the 4 tenets of money (earn, save, spend, invest) and identify their financial goals and create a budget to save up for it.

For a hands-on practice in earning money, campers will also learn the financial aspects of running a "brick-and-mortar" business - this could be as Market Day, or by setting up an e-store on Carousell. They will learn about personal branding, pricing strategy, and safe ways to conduct a sale.

At the end of this camp, campers will:

Have identified their money personality

Understand the tenets of money - Save, Spend, Earn and Invest

Identify their own financial goals and design a plan and budget to achieve that

Understand the concepts of revenue, cost, and what it means to make a profit

Experience having to hustle and sell their products at their Kids' Market in order to earn money

Have experienced and acquire key 21st century skills of critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and communication.
