- Robotics: Building Blocks of a Creator
This course is designed for young children to learn the fundamentals of robotics and programming. Utilizing the most advanced educational tools developed in the Silicon Valley, including Dash & Dot, Beebot, and Sphero, students will come to understand technology as a tool to solve problems and create useful things.
- Scratch Holiday Camp: Travel the World
The Scratch Holiday Camp is designed to teach young imaginative minds to create interactive stories, games, and animation with travel as the theme. Students learn to code with Scratch, a block-based programming tool developed by the MIT Media Lab, to give young students hands-on first try on programming. Students learn key computer science concepts such as sequences, loops, conditionals, and abstraction by building their own fun projects of animated stories and multimedia games.
- 3D Minecraft Modding: Building Interactive Mods
In this course, students will be using a software that allows them to create Minecraft mods with their own graphical and behavioral designs. Student will learn to create items and code for the behavior of the items, to create series of event with custom commands, and to make a collection of mods that depends on and interact with each others using blocks-based programming.
