AppJamming Holiday Camp: Make Your Own Apps!

This holiday camp empowers students through teaching them problem-solving using technology to build mobile apps. From introducing fundamental computer science concepts, applying Design Thinking process to utilizing App Inventor as a language, we guide students to apply problem-solving skills to their daily lives.

3D Minecraft Modding: Design Your Own Mods

This Minecraft modding class allows students to have full control over their 3D game world. Through teaching programming and technical concepts behind video game modding, this course empowers students to modify video games. Students will learn to draw 2D images using Pixlr and turn them into 3D objects in Minecraft, and that is just the tip of the iceberg of what can be achieved.

Virtual Reality with CoSpaces: Animate your own VR world

In this course, students will build and animate advanced 3D spaces using the tool CoSpaces. We learn how to design more elaborate 3D environments, understand modeling and how it can be achieved using primitive shapes, as well as exploring and playing in the animated 3D space they created. We will focus on learning how to create interactions and movements in our worlds using blocks-based programming.

Roblox: Code Your Own 3D Game

Roblox is one of the most popular sandbox games constructed of Lego-like blocks with more than 65 million active users per month. To create our own games in Roblox in this course, we introduce a beginner-friendly platform called Code Kingdoms. Through programming Roblox games, students will be able to learn different computer science concepts such as events and methods in this course.

3D Minecraft Modding: Building Interactive Mods

In this course, students will be using a software that allows them to create Minecraft mods with their own graphical and behavioral designs. Student will learn to create items and code for the behavior of the items, to create series of event with custom commands, and to make a collection of mods that depends on and interact with each others using blocks-based programming.

Elegant Web Design with CSS Framework

Throughout this course, students will be building on the prior web programming knowledge they have and extend on their proficiency in web design and programming by learning and getting hands-on experience. In addition, student will learn about design concepts that will allow them to create practical web designs for larger audiences.
