Kashunutz Art Studio (KAS), is an art studio in the heart of TST, Hong Kong. The studio is Kashmira Doshi’s brainchild born out of her deep desire to create artists where she can promote art in a well-designed curriculum that addresses everyone’s individual needs. We offer a traditional base of learning in an unorthodox approach and fun learning environment in Hong Kong that are tailor-made for all age groups. It’s concept-based learning that spans from ‘comprehensive art programs’ to more ‘focused programs’ with a specific approach depending on the type of project. The curriculum has been designed with the aim of balancing creativity and techniques simultaneously with scaffolding the learning process.

Kashunutz Art Studio is an institution founded to provide a platform for aspiring artists to exploit their artistic talents and showcase them through exhibitions and competitions.
KAS weekly programs are designed to ensure that students practice art as a subject and develop an inner sanctum that allows creative freedom and expression to explore facets of our society and the world through the visual language of art.
Budding Artist
- Age: 3-5 years old
- Materials used: Mixed Media
- Aim: To develop their basic skills in drawing using different mediums. Students will learn to work with their hands, to better develop their physical motor skills through colouring within the shapes.
Little Painters
- Age: 3-5 years old
- Materials used: Poster and Acrylic Colours
- Aim: Students will learn to work with their fingers and hands, to better develop their physical motor skills. They will be introduced to colour concepts through themes such as still life, landscape & nature while enjoying the world of art.
Art Class
- Age: 5+ years old
- Materials used: Pencil and Oil Pastels
- Aim: Art class is designed for children to have fun and learn simultaneously by strengthening their foundational drawing skills
Art Explorers
- Age: 5+ years old
- Materials used: Mixed Media
- Aim: For children to work with mediums of their choice to create their masterpiece while having fun. The class is based on the individual needs of each child and is designed to provoke their interest in art!
Sketching Class
- Age: 7+ years old
- Materials used: Pencil and Prisma Colours
- Aim: Children will learn to sketch where they will be making realistic drawings using tints, tones, shades and other different techniques.
Acrylic Painting Class
- Age: 5+ years old
- Materials used: Acrylic Paints
- Aim: To build children’s foundation skills in acrylic painting.
The class will provide them with insight in elements and techniques of acrylic painting while exploring colour theory, composition, painting skills, colour mixing and shading through hands-on painting.
Watercolour Class
- Age: 5+ years old
- Materials used: Water and Poster Colours
- Aim: To enhance children's creativity and technical competence by providing an in-depth understanding of the characteristics of the medium.
Zentangle, Doodling & Mandalas
- Age: 7+ years old
- Materials used: Pen, Pencils & Markers
- Aim: For children to select between the options of Zentangles, Doodling and Mandalas. Designed specifically for children to learn basics, characterization, designing and composition.
Ladies Class
- Age: 18+ years old
- Materials used: Mixed Media
- Aim: Ladies Batch is designed to give all the lovely ladies an artistic outlet where they create their own masterpieces in a fun and engaging class.
