Written by Ali Jamal and directed by Abdulrahman Al Mulla, the work addresses the concept of the human life cycle and discusses the wrong parenting methods followed by some parents.
"Al Khadij" refers to the incomplete development of a newborn, symbolizing the incomplete growth that we all experience, and the struggle between our dreams and the reality of our daily lives. It portrays a series of commands and prohibitions that the newborn receives from childhood to adolescence, keeping them in a state of incompleteness until the end of life. They live amidst a list of prohibitions imposed by parents, leading to the distortion of these children's personalities, their psychological and sometimes physical disability.
