The Geometric Square Kufic Calligraphy – Part One
In this workshop, participants will learn how to write the geometric square Kufic script. It appeared from the Himyari Musnad script in the Arabian region and then moved to Kufa and was named after the same region. Its dot is characterized by a square shape and its letters are the same as the shape of the columns of houses, and it is distinguished by the thickness of its letters. If we look at the shape It is like the architecture of houses and does not require the formation of its letters and is executed on graph paper.
This workshop consists of two workshops, the first workshop for writing letters and the second workshop for making a painting.
