Latin Rhythms (ages 10-16) is a fun 2-hour class inspired by Latin music
The class consists of an hour-long street dance and commercial jazz class learning technique and choreography to Latin-inspired pop and hip hop music, followed by an hour-long introduction to basic movements used in salsa, samba, bachata, mambo, and other Latin ballroom dances. Jazz shoes or trainers required for the jazz/street section. Low heels are optional for the Latin ballroom section.
Parents are invited to attend the last 15-minutes of the Thursday class to get a glimpse of what students have learned over the week.
