We are thrilled to introduce Afternoon Preschool Distance Learning Program.

The Outstanding Distance Learning Preschool program at Chubby Cheeks Nursery follows the EYFS British Early Years Curriculum. At Chubby Cheeks Nursery we encourage children to be independent learners with minimum input from parents. Distance Learning at CCN. Your child’s teacher will be available to zoom chat with your child and family for 30 to 40 minutes daily between 2pm and 6pm.

The lesson plan will also have 4 pre-recorded sessions daily by your teacher covering 7 EYFS areas of learning. Each session will serve as an invitation to learn and will encourage children to take on daily learning challenges. These video sessions will be watsapped to parents at the start of the day and the children can complete the tasks anytime before 7 pm at their own pace making it a completely flexible program. The supervising adult should take pictures or videos of the child performing the activity or completed project for the teachers' observation and assessment.

At Chubby Cheeks Nursery we believe in learning through play, so the learning is expected to be hands on. We are mindful that parents do not have the same resources as a nursery and most resources suggested by the teacher will be ones easily found at home. You are requested to have access to printed material, paper, crayons, colour pencils, paint and simple toys such as blocks, animals, cars etc. The parents must have download zoom app on laptop, mobile or tablet for interactive live session with the child’s teacher.
