This course is designed for children to learn how to express their creativity, thoughts and ideas in words using the language experience approach.

It is meant to guide the students to put their concepts on paper and discover the wonderful world of creative writing. Students will freely express themselves and explore the excitement of being an author. Each student, regardless of writing level, will engage in creative thinking and freedom of expression. All students will become the authors of their own short stories, poems, autobiographical writings and much more. The children will learn fine writing skills in a fun and carefree environment. Their writing skills will grow and develop as they immerse themselves in self-expression and creative visualization. The students will start from a blank sheet of paper and over the duration of the course they will write, edit, proofread, illustrate and bind their own work.

1. Pre-registration required for all classes and payments to be made in advance.
2. Students must attend classes they have registered and paid for.
3. Makeup classes provided and refunds issued only if art center cancels any lessons.
