Manarat Al Saadiyat celebrate Abu Dhabi’s booming diversity and creativity and also encourage innovative art projects. They support entrepreneurship and encourage grassroots initiatives developed by in the communities. The main objective is to create a vibrant, experimental community platform where visitors can be part of a cultural experience that is inspired by a diverse public programme including exhibitions - from both international and UAE artists - special events, art fairs, panel discussions, workshops, and educational initiatives. This is the place open to all… and they welcome all segments of audience interested in cultural expression.

Art Studio at Manarat Al Saadiyat is a multi-disciplinary arts space designed to bring hands-on arts education programmes, art classes, drop-in sessions, workshops and outreach initiatives to students, adults, children and families in the Emirate. Art Studio has dedicated spaces for all ages to work both collaboratively and individually. Fully equipped studios for ongoing classes, an open plan collaborative space for adults and interactive features make Art Studio the perfect place for creating art. Art Studio also hosts an arts supply store, making it easier for young artists to continue their practice at home!

Workshops. Art Studio’s range of workshops are specially designed for each age group and for all levels of ability. Timed workshops are led by teaching artists and explore a variety of techniques, styles and themes. Workshops are designed as stand-alone sessions or part of a bigger series. Each time you come, you’ll find new things to learn! Prior booking at least 24 hours in advance is required for all workshops. Participants are advised to wear suitable clothing. All workshop materials are provided. Children aged five years old and under should be accompanied by an adult. Workshop prices vary.

Drop-in Studio. Drop-in Studio is designed for people of all ages to casually experiment with an easy to follow, specifically designed art activity and create artworks at their own pace for up to 2 hours. Art instructors are on hand to provide inspiration and suggest themes to explore. Advance registration is not required, just sign up at the reception desk at the entrance to Art Studio.
