Movement Before Dialogue is an embodied inquiry practice taught by dancer/choreographer Coco Karol.
It is an improvisational practice that invites creativity from impulse, awe, and reflection. In turn, critical thinking and inquiry skills are brought into the movement. Classes include a warm up, movement improvisations, and authentic movement followed by dialogue or writing. Students will have the opportunity to use the information discovered through embodied inquiry movement to create their own compositions. The two part workshop is open to all levels and abilities interested in exploration through movement.
