Based in Dubai, NOON forges a new sound from eclectic jazz, rock, and traditional Middle Eastern elements. With its members hailing from Indian, Egyptian, and English backgrounds, NOON’s music is fueled by the UAE’s cultural diversity.
In this session moderated by Bill Bragin, we’ll explore the UAE music ecosystem, expatriate communities, and the NOON approach to global music traditions—particularly the oud, a traditional string instrument played across the Middle East.
