The WALK, returns for its 13th edition on Friday 15th November 2019.
WALK 2019 is more than just a walk; it is a powerful movement created by Imperial College London Diabetes Centre to prevent and tackle diabetes by raising awareness, and by providing the whole community with an opportunity to come together and celebrate healthy lifestyle choices.
Entry is AED 10 for participants aged 16 and above.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to learn a lot about diabetes and the effects of food on a human’s body. Children will have the chance to explore their talents by participating in different arts and crafts activities such as trampolines, climbing wall, inflatables, fitness and challenge zones. Adults will also be entertained by fitness challenges and competitions on stage with a lot of prizes and vouchers given to all winners.
