3D Game & VR Development - Beginner (Blocks coding - Hatch XR)

Design, code, and publish 3D games using Camp K12’s very own 3D / Virtual Reality editor called “Hatch”
Mathematics: Build child’s spatial intelligence; heavy use of 3D
Coordinate Systems (x, y, z) and calculations in 3D space
Designing and coding 3D environments using blocks-based coding in JavaScript
Coding Basics like loops, conditionals, variables, logical operators, events, lists, etc.

3D Game & VR Development - Intermediate (JavaScript)

Building on concepts covered in grades 3-5 but with javascript language syntax and keywords instead of visual blocks: variables, if-else, loops, functions, arrays
Principles of Object Oriented Programming e.g .writing modular code with functions
Code your own 3D worlds and invite friends to play in them (inspired by Minecraft/Roblox)
Applied Mathematics and Physics: implementing jumping, flight, scores, and motion
Introduction to Algorithms: random number generation, multi-level games, and more
