The watercolor course for kids will cover all the basic and some advanced techniques according to their levels.

During these 8 weeks the students learn about watercolor pigments, cool and warm colors, composition, tone and value, different washing tecxniques.,scumbling, opaque vs transparent , wet and dry teqniques and detail painting . Above all, they will discover the magic of paint and water interacting on paper

Week no. 1: Introduction to materials; paper stretching, getting to know the colors, strokes and make painting using solid and graded wash.
Week no. 2, &3: Understanding pigments, mixing colors, tone and value, laying washes and glazing, working wet on wet , hard and soft edges.Scratching and negative painting. Using all the above tecniques (students will paint floral, still life or nature) according to their levels
Week 4 & 5: Paintings will be made using special techniques such as the use of masking , dry brush, wax resist ,sponge,tape, salt etc
Week no. 6 : Painting darker to light and lighter to darker shades using wet on wet and dry brush tecxniques
Week no. 7 & 8 : Practicing various tecniques by making nature, landscape or still life painting
