The UAE Inter School Business Simulation Challenge is a competition that will provide school students with the opportunity to participate in an interactive and real-time management simulation designed to test their entrepreneurial skills and competitive abilities.

Open to all school students, this challenge will enable students to enhance their learning experience while simultaneously getting a taste of life as a management student at Dubai's top ranked British University and one of the region's leading international universities.

This challenge requires students to participate in groups of 4-5 members where they will be competing as a team to run their own business and make valuable management decisions using one of the most innovative business simulators in the UAE. Students will be competing with different students across various schools within the GCC region.

The challenge will allow to further develop creativity and problem-solving capabilities that will enable students to improve their employability potential. Winners of this competition also stand to benefit from a wide variety of prizes including:

1st place: 50% Scholarship to study at Heriot Watt University Dubai
2nd place: 40% Scholarship to study at Heriot Watt University Dubai
3rd place: 30% Scholarship to study at Heriot Watt University Dubai

An additional prize for the best “marketing campaign” will be offered by the sponsor, The Chartered Institution of Marketing (CIM), the leading professional body for marketers in the UK.

Terms & Conditions

This competition is only open for school students in grades 12, 13 and high school students seeking to join university in January 2018 or September 2018
Teams can be of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 members
All participants will receive certificates of participation after the event.
Prize winners will be notified on the day of the challenge
The judges’ decision is final
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis
A detailed briefing on the business simulation will be provided on the day and a welcome pack will be sent in advance of the event to all participants
