The programme delves into alternative research methodologies and representations, focusing on the concept of ‘thinking in public’.
Join Jameel Library for a Library Circles tour led in English by Azza Aboualam at the Jameel Arts Centre on Saturday, 25 May, 2024 at 11:00 am.
During this tour, Aboualam guides visitors through her research display, elaborating on her process, her findings, and the particularities of the sites documented in her research.

Azza Aboualam
Azza Aboualam is an Assistant Professor at Zayed University Dubai and holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from Yale University. Her expertise spans research-based architectural projects, including contributions to the UAE Architecture Initiative and the publication “In Search of Spaces of Coexistence: An Architect’s Journey.” Notable collaborations include work with the Department of Public Works in Sharjah, notably the award-winning Wasit Wetland Center. Aboualam’s work has been showcased globally, including exhibitions at Yale University, Sharjah Architecture Triennial, Venice Biennale, and Citygroup Architecture Initiative in New York.
