You will learn about portrait drawing including over-size drawing techniques using pencil.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students will:
• Understand key technical aspects of drawing including: negative space, relative measure, asymmetrical point connections, drawing size ratios, composition and quality of line
• Understand and use thinking techniques relevant to drawing including: drawing from a specific point and relating the rest of the drawing proportionally to this point, looking for what is 'unfamiliar and distinctive' in the subject, and using this as the starting point, understanding what 'flow' is and how to get it, and using time wisely in relation to your subject and your drawing
This course is open to anyone at any level who want to lean to draw or improve their drawing skills, particularly with regard to accuracy.
Facilitator: Asareh Ebrahimpour
Asareh is an Iranian Artist with a bachelor of Interior Design. Besides her professional career, she teaches painting and has been performing contemporary dance since 2014.
She’s currently teaching expressional painting and how to transfer feelings to body movements and the movements to an art piece.

How to get there?
There is a free underground parking at the main boulevard road, town square parking 2, stairs 9 (immediately take a left after you enter parking 2) or for the lift use staircase 11, then Soul Art Center is few minutes walking from there.
Valet is now available at the centre, for 15 AED with the centre's stamp.
