STEM Saturdays - An Exciting Mix of Robotics, Computer Programming & Engineering - Reloaded for the new term
STEM Saturday Camps are designed to provide a highly flexible and engaging STEM-based education program for children aged 5 to 10.
Hosted at The Ontario International School in Dubai, STEM Saturday Camps are held between 9am and 12:30pm each and every Saturday. Each week, young students will experience activities from the following highly-acclaimed STEM for Kids programs:
- Robotics
- Computer Programming (Basic to Advanced Level)
- Applied Science
- Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Electrical and Aerospace)
Each week, students broaden their scientific understanding through the hands on exciting (and often explossive, loud or messy!) scientific experiments, learn the logic of comuter programming through interactive software on touch screen laptops, get to grips with robotic technolgy and create something they can take home to show you in the engineering sessions.
Previous STEM Saturdays have seen the students launch rockets 40 feet in the air, cook a pizza with solar power, build electronic alarm systems and torches to survive a zombie apocalypse, progam a robot to negotiate a maze and much, much more.
Collaboration and Communication is at the heart of each STEM for Kids program!
