6 March 2022 - Doodle Marathon

Let's celebrate the women in our lives! Inspired by International Women's Day, we'll be encouraging participants to respond and reflect on the importance of women to our culture and society while introducing the principles of doodling. Exploring line, repetition and texture, our doodlers will get to loosen up their imaginations and build up their drawing skills.

13 March 2022 - Surrealist Games

What is Surrealism? How do you create artwork with unexpected outcomes? This workshop is a fun opportunity for young artists to learn about the wonderful world of Surrealism (practised by artists like Salvador Dalì and Frida Kahlo) using the creative games invented and used in that period. The participants will be introduced to the complex concepts of chance, immediate responses and magical imagination to produce artwork that explores a different side of their creativity.

20 March 2022 - Carpet Making

Join us in making your own carpet! Using the basic principles of weaving, the participants will use a mini-loom to create a mini-carpet. With lots of colourful yarn to play around with, we will explore the rich and ancient tradition of carpet-making that continues to be a big part of our shared heritage.
