This interactive workshop is designed to help children cultivate essential skills for building and maintaining friendships, asking for help when needed, and managing their emotions effectively.
Through engaging activities, discussions, and role-playing exercises, children will learn about manners, kindness, respect, social behavior in different settings, and the power of positive self-talk and affirmations.
What will they learn?
- Be a Manners Detective: Identifying Manners at Home and School
- Empathy Exercise: Putting Yourself in Someone Else's Shoes
- Kindness & Respect - Why is it important to be kind and respectful?
- Asking for Help and Social Behavior in Special Places
- Creating Social Behavior Rules for Special Places
- Friendship Challenges and Problem-Solving
Students will then be making a Compassion Chest to embrace Kindness and also celebrate Friendship and Connection.
