Little Green House @ Serangoon 540 is innately different from her sister centre at block 553, just 10 minutes away. This is the only childcare centre among Little Green House to offer Infant Care services, which is so popular with the local residents, the usual waiting list is a few months long. Just off Ang Mo Kio Ave 4, and a short distance away from well-known schools such as Rosyth

School and the Lycée Français de Singapour, a French International School, with over 4,000 square feet of learning space, naturally airy and lots of sunshine, Little Green House @ Serangoon S540 offers full and half day infant care and childcare services for children from Infant, Playgroup, Nursery and Kindergarten ages.

Ms Joanne, Centre Principal for Little Green House @ Serangoon S540 explains the magic that goes behind each smiley faces in her centre.

“I am thankful for the love and tenacity given by my pool of infantcare and childcare teachers. From dawn to dusk, our teachers are always hard at work, to keep up the pace of learning, curiosity and playful misfits from our children, but we are rewarded by the happiness and gratitude shown by our children, so at the end of the day, we feel a sense of accomplishment, watching the little ones grow up.” chuckled Ms Joanne with her trademark white grinny smile.

“We do things differently, because children, just like adults get bored easily with routine day-to-day activities. So to keep our children engaged, we often think out of the box and create new activities and challenges. So I am always engaged in a brain-storming session with my teachers to find new aspects, new inspirations. This keeps us on our toes, and

gets a little stressful at times but when you are managing a group of children, with very diverse background, and culture, the way each child learns, reacts and response is uniquely different, we as educators sometimes learn from our children, how to be better teachers too!” explains Ms Joanne.

Little Green House @ Serangoon 540 is an established, award-winning preschool that caters to children from 18 month to 6 years old. Our award winning Literacy SMART curriculum cultivates a structured learning programme catering to a child’s ability to hone basic, intermediate and advanced literacy skills to create a strong foundation in writing, reading and speaking. Every Little Green House centre is richly stocked with age-appropriate readers and activity books, audio learning stations and most recent current affairs to stimulate the child’s interest in real world occurrences. Our teachers use a variety of

learning aids to engage each child with a series of fun activities, interactive role playing, and short quizzes to evoke the child’s curiosity and interest.
