Young Chef’s on Parade is an initiative to hone, tapped, and develop kid’s potential in Culinary field.
It was designed also to help them understand proper and hygienic preparation and disposal of foods under the supervision and guidance of the experts from the culinary industry.
- Training: Introduction and Training about Food Hygiene & Nutrition to kids
- Contest: Encouraging kids to get out of the Digital World and Compete in real kitchen environment
- Interaction: Interaction of kids with industry leads in Culinary world
OUR STORY
In today’s generation of modern technology our youth are focusing and giving more time on the social media and games, applications among others. We want our youth to be empowered and help them build their character. Young Chef’s on Parade was launched and created for our kids ages 7-12 years to tapped , discover, develop and honed their potential skills in Culinary Field. With the assistance of our notable Chefs in the region, we will teach and educate our youth in this field. Here they will learn the proper handling /sanitation of foods and how to dispose it properly.
We will teach them how to do the following :
- table set-up,
- sandwich and salad tossing,
- pasta plating
- fruit basket /platter presentation,
- cold cuts presentation and
- cake decorating.
A training and practical presentation of the above-mentioned preparations will be provided to enable them to do such and a certificate of completion will be awarded to each attendees.
