The Reqa'a script is not very old, invented by the Ottomans by the calligrapher Mumtaz Bik in 1836, is easy to read and the speed of writing, not complexity, very famous and used in most Arab countries.
Dates: July 27th, August 3rd, 17th, 24th
Time: 11 am - 1 pm
In these workshops we will learn the principles of writing in this font as follows:
- First class on Saturday July 27th, 2019 From 11 am to 1 pm, you will be trained how to use calligraphy pin and will know about Reqa'a alphabet.
- Second class on Saturday August 3rd, 2019 From 11 am to 1 pm, will practise for single letters.
- Third class on Saturday August 17th, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm, we will recognise the letters connections.
- Fourth class on Saturday August 24th, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm, we will practise writing short phrases.
