Intensive Watercolour Painting

In this course, we will talk about working with colors, and how to combine them to achieve the most unique watercolor effects. We will also discuss about how to create beautiful contrast and make the light looks real. We will learn principles of composition and searching for the right angle to look at objects. We will discover density and lightness of colors, negative and positive spaces, and ways to leave light on a dark background. Also, we will try to work with different techniques, different papers, brushes and materials, so each student will be able to find its own style and learn how to create unique beautiful brushstrokes and textures. We will work with a variety of subjects: flowers, animals, landscapes, glass dishes, ballet dancers, birds and also still life with fruits and vegetables.

Registration and Cancellation Policies
▪ Refunds of class fees, less 25%, will be made if you withdraw at least 48 hours before the first class meeting. After that time, no refunds will be made.
▪ Email is our primary means of communicating with you. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of registration.
▪ We cannot prorate class fees for students not attending all class meetings.
▪ Classes with insufficient enrollment may be cancelled prior to the first meeting. Full refunds are given when Art Central cancels a workshop or class.
▪ A completed health form is required for children under age 18 attending class without an accompanying parent or guardian.
