Local Theatre Brings Stories to Life
Summer Book-Based Camps — 6th July to 28th August
This summer, The Courtyard Playhouse invites children and teens to step into worlds of adventure, imagination and storytelling through its much-loved Summer Camps programme! The book-based camps are designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and self-expression through drama, play and collaborative storytelling.
Each week is centred around an exciting Adventure theme, giving children the opportunity to create original characters, solve challenges, tell stories, and work together with new friends. The focus is on the journey, not perfection — allowing children to learn, grow, and gain confidence and creative exploration along the way.
More than just a holiday activity, drama camps help children develop communication skills and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to participate and thrive. To celebrate all they have achieved, each camp concludes with a special showcase, where kids share moments from their creative journey with family and friends.
