The course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent and effectively manage a medical emergency in children and infants. By the end of this course participants will be able to:
- Discuss child safety and prevention
- List the principles of Child First Aid
- Perform an initial assessment of the victim
- Demonstrate resuscitation skills effectively
- Manage a medical & trauma emergency effectively
