UAE will be witnessing a rare solar eclipse on 26th December 2019.
The event in its entirety is largely a partial solar eclipse, with the “ring” event lasting just a few minutes only in Liwa region of Abu Dhabi. It will be visible at sunrise on the Arabian Peninsula (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar). Join Dubai Astronomy Group & UAE Space Agency to observe this rare event at the Al Thuraya Astronomy Center, Mushrif Park – Dubai.
PACKAGE 1 (Eclipse camping)
• Event Date: 25 - 26 Dec 2019
• Event Timing: 6pm to 9am
• Location: Al Thuraya Astronomy Center, Mushrif Park – Dubai
• Ticket price with Camping:
Adult: AED 400
Child: AED 250
DAG member: AED 150 (DAG members are required to present their membership card)

• Free solar eclipse glasses will be provided to all the participants
Note:
• Transportation is upon you for your convenience.
• As you will be camping, you are requested to bring your own camping/outdoor equipment’s or any necessities you might deem necessary over the period of the event.
• The night is bound to get cold. You are requested to keep warm clothing with you
• Please bring the hard copy or soft copy of registration confirmation number/ email to ensure your entry.
• Buffet Dinner and breakfast will be provided.
• Dubai Astronomy Group members are requested to bring their membership card to be presented upon request.
