Dubai Sky to Light Up with Perseid Meteor Shower on August 12-13, 2018
- The Perseids, one of the best meteor shower of the year is due on 12-13 August 2018.
- Moonless Night will make the Perseid probably the best shower of the year.
Dubai Astronomy Group is organizing a “Perseid Meteor Shower Party” in dark side of Al Qudra desert. An ideal place for meteor show. The event will also provide an opportunity to look through telescopes at other celestial objects including; Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Stars, globular clusters, nebula and other deep sky objects. The event will also feature presentation, Talk & Q&A Session

Tickets:
- Adult:150 AED
- Child (below 13 year): 70 AED
- DAG Members: 50 AED (you must have valid membership of international/associate/student category and valid membership ID card to avail this discount)
Note:
- The venue for the event is at Al Qudra, Dubai. A precise location map will be sent to you by email after you register for the program
- Transportation is upon you for your convenience.
- No need to have a 4x4 car, though recommended.
- Although Dubai Astronomy Group will be providing mats, you are requested to carry any necessities you might deem necessary over the period of the event (snacks, water, mats, seats etc.)
- Please bring the hard copy or soft copy of registration confirmation number/ email to ensure your entry.
- You are requested to bring your Emirates ID or Passport with visa page with you to be presented at the meeting point upon request.
- Dubai Astronomy Group members are requested to bring their membership card to be presented upon request.
- Once the ticket is confirmed, The cancellation request can only be done up to 48 hours before
